HHub is an ecosystem community for exercise, health promotion, and well-being that brings together actors from different parts of Finland and the world. During 2021-2022, we…
o Had over 75 companies and organisations involved in programmes, joint projects, and events.
o Established collaborations with 6 angel investor networks
o Developed 3 different programme concepts with ecosystem partners to boost sustainable growth and RDI investments.
o Launched innovation partnerships with the Biscay region and Athletic Club
o Started building a Sport Finland network collaboratively with the Cities of Jyväskylä, Kuopio, and Lahti in 2023.
Growth through international partnerships and RDI
There is a significant need to increase the share of companies’ R&D investments. In order to meet the national target of rising the amount of research, development, and innovation to 4% of our GDP, we need more than 100 MEUR invested in RDI only in Central Finland.
The ecosystem cooperation creates new opportunities for companies in Central Finland to cooperate with international alliances and form new networks. In 2023-2024 we will be building an innovation bridge through an ecosystem partnership with the Biscay region.
For start-ups and investors, the yearly running programmes like Digital Health Kasvupolku by Kasvu Open, International Venture Academy with EBAN and Seed Village accelerator programmes with the universities and Kasvu Open are offering valuable connections but also strengthening the know-how. Not to mention the upcoming Business Rally 2023 which brings international networks, investors, and start-ups together during the Investor Day and City Special Stage. Let's stay connected!
